Suyin completed his undergraduate degree at Beijing University of Chemical Technology with a degree in Applied Chemistry. In his fourth year, he worked on the synthesis of oxazepines under the supervision of Dr. Ning Chen. He then moved to Southampton University in 2021 to complete his research Master's degree which is about the optimization of small molecule ligands of p53-Y220C under the supervision of Dr. Matthias Baud.
The current research focus is still on optimizing small molecule ligands of p53-Y220C.
